Did you catch what Pastor Mark brought out on Shabbat? It is really quite stunning. The Question was: Did Abram leave for the Promised Land before or after his father, Terah, died. The answer is in the Bible.
First, we are told that Terah was 70 when Abram was born (Genesis 11:26). Then we are also told that Terah died in Haran when he was 205 years old (Genesis 11:32).
Now we turn to Abram. G-d told him to leave his country, his people and his father’s household and to go to the land He would show him (Genesis 12:1). Genesis 12:4 says, So Abram left, as the LORD had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.
Putting all these clues together, we can answer the original question and come up with a date that is amazing. When we add 70, the age of Terah when he begot Abram, and Abram’s age when he left for the Land which was 75, we get 145. Terah was 205 when he died, so subtracting 145 from 205 leaves 60 years. Terah was alive for sixty years after Abram left for the Land.
We know that Abram was born in 1948. If you add 1948 and 75, his age when he left for the land, you get 2023—-2023!
The Lord is giving us clues, so many clues. As Pastor Mark sees these amazing things that are pointing to the Lord’s return, we need to be very aware of what the Lord is saying. He is speaking through the signs in the heavens – the blood moons and the solar eclipses. He is speaking to us through the math in His Word. He is speaking to us through the Shemitah cycles.
Are we listening? Are we ready? Are we telling others?
It is time to get ready. The King is coming!
