What an incredible week we are in! Just imagine that G-d the Father determined not only when His Son would be born, but He would arrange for the songs we would be singing to celebrate His birth. This understanding makes the words of Psalms 118:14,15a, 24, and 25 jump off the page with meaning.
Psalms 118:14,15a The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation, The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous:
Psalms 118:25,15a This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I beseech you, O LORD; O LORD, I beseech you, send now prosperity.
May our praises shake the heavens this week as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. May the voice of rejoicing encircle all we do as we let the Lord know we are eternally grateful that He came and dwelt among us and became our salvation! Let the righteous be Glad!
