Meditations in Ezekiel – The Son of Man

Yeshua asked a question that everyone will have to answer.

Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man am?

1. What did Yeshua call Himself in the above verse?

The disciples gave several answers that they had heard regarding Yeshua’s question. Then Jesus asks more specifically…..

Matthew 16:15  He said to them, But who do you say that I am?

1. This is a question everyone has to answer – Yeshuah is now making this a very personal and specific question…….What would you say?

Matthew 16:16 Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

1. Who did Peter say the Son of Man is?

Let’s see if Yeshua agreed with Peter’s answer:

Matthew 16:17 Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

1. Who revealed this revelation to Peter?

Who do you say the Son of Man is?

Who was the first in the Bible to be called the Son of Man?

In what ways was Ezekiel foreshadowing Yeshua?
